Scotland is to stage a second year of Homecoming in 2014, it has been confirmed.
The event will coincide with the Commonwealth Games and the Ryder Cup, as well as the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn.

A major milestone for Robert Burns Birthplace Museum

A significant milestone in the new Robert Burns Birthplace Museum project was reached earlier this month with the exterior of the building being completed.  The National Trust for Scotland museum will house one of the world’s most important Burns collections and will be split into four sections, ‘Identity’, Inspiration, Fame and Creative Works.   The museum is due to open in Autumn 2010, in Alloway, Ayrshire.
