Airlines and Canadian Affair to offer a superb
4-night/5-day trip to Scotland. Scottish Ancestral Trail
has enlisted as partners Graham Brit Services (GBS),
Macdonald Hotels, Scottish Roots and
ScotlandsPeople Centre.
The lucky winner will fly with either Continental Airlines from the USA or Canadian Affair from Canada to Edinburgh or Glasgow. On arrival at the airport you will be met by your chauffeur from GBS who will take you to the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel in Edinburgh. You'll then be taken on an exclusive guided tour of Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile by Scottish Ancestral Trail's Edinburgh guide before returning to your hotel for a meeting with Scottish Roots to discuss your Scottish ancestry. You will dine that night in Macdonald Holyrood Hotel.
On day two you will be collected after breakfast by your chauffeur who will take you on a two day tour of the region that your Scottish ancestors came from, expertly planned by Scottish Ancestral Trail. You will spend two nights staying in the Macdonald Hotel that is closest to your ancestral homelands.
On your fourth day you will be collected by your chauffeur and taken back to Edinburgh where you will be taken on a personal guided tour of the ScotlandsPeople Centre, Scotland's new family history centre, before spending your last night at Macdonald Holyrood Hotel.
On your final day GBS will transfer you back to Edinburgh airport for your return flight with Continental Airlines or Canadian Affair.

Using the records kept at New Register House, a lot of interesting information can be unearthed such as occupations, addresses, religion, etc. A Standard Search costs £195 and usually traces a line back to c. 1780s.
